Fall is all most here! Well, the weather isn't quite cool enough for me to remember that in less than a week, it will officially be autumn, but I must admit that I'm beginning to think about Halloween and Thanksgiving themed activities for my students. One music theory aspect that I need to drill with many of my students is notes on the staff. Most of my Little Mozarts are beginning to learn their staff notes, and most of my elementary beginners are quickly expanding their range. I found this fun worksheet on Susan Paradis' site. I think my students will be seeing this worksheet pulled out a couple times over the next month or two! Maybe we'll even make a game of it by timing how fast they do it each week - hopefully that time will get shorter and shorter...
